The Physician is responsible for providing quality care for Grand View Health patients which fall under the physician's field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to all patients. In addition, the Physician is responsible for promoting the GVH mission, vision, and values as well as collaboratively work with team members at all levels to achieve them. They must be cognizant of, and comply with, all GVH policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.
As a hospital medicine physician, you will admit, treat, and discharge patients and supervise Physician Assistants (PA) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNP); you will be responsible for a variety of patient related duties.
Demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Must have graduated from a training program certified by the PA State Board of Medicine and have passed a national certifying examination approved by the Board. Must be certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine.
The physician is responsible for evaluation and management of patients admitted to the Hospitalist service and those seen in consultation by the Hospitalist service.
- The Physician will respond to Code 9 and Rapid Response situations in the Hospital, and direct or participate in providing medical care according to ACLS protocols.
- The Physician will maintain a professional relationship with Hospital and Medical staff at all times, and is expected to possess verbal and written communication skills to foster such a relationship.
- The Physician is encouraged to be active in community affairs, participate in educational activities and staff functions, and to assist with staff training programs.
- Chart in a timely manner on the EMR system.

This position is for an independent group, CritAcuity, that has an exclusive contract to manage the hospital medicine service line at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. This physician will be employed by CritAcuity, treating and caring for Grand View Hospital admitted patients.
The hours will consist of 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. with a 7 day on/7 day off schedule.
